    Question Best way to fish clear water?


    Any suggestions from you other pros....

    Presentation

    Depth

    baits (live vs. artificial)

    Anything of importance will greatly be appreciated.

    It has been my experience in clear water, the furthurest you can get you presentation away from you, the better. I don't know if "furturest" is a word or not. But, you know what I mean. Use a slip cork rig. Or, troll out behind. Getting the depth right is a little more difficult for me when trolling.

    4 lb test or less/clear, natural colored jigs - clear/sparkle - smoke/sparkle - blue clears/sparkle.

    Lite line,get after them before the sun gets high in the sky,hope for cloudy days.a little wind doesn't hurt.LOOOONG casts.

    I like to fish clear water when there is a lite wind, keeping a ripple on the water, cast as far as you can from the boat, use the smallest line that you can get by with, and preferably cloudy day.
