    We should be able to coin that phrase when it comes to cappie fishing.
    Took a first timer out today ...my BIL (brother in law) and we caught probably 100 fish.
    They where staged in deep water
    Their faces were black
    Couple more warm days and they will be spawning

    Nice catch! You folks to our North shouldn't have to wait too long for the spawn... Ours here in Upstate NY seems to be going on right now... Warm weather today and tomorrow should get things kick started for you.

    Good day on the water. I knew it was going to be hard reading your guys posts once they turned on up north and our spawn was long gone. Keep on catching them!

    I don't know about you, but we usually only have 2 seasons here in Central NY... Winter, and road construction. I'm undecided which is better or worse, but I know that winter lasts longer.
