That looks like a lot of eggs . Our fish have spawned out and the egg sacks are small. The males still have some dark color left and their tails are worn.

I have caught a few with eggs lately. I was wonder if some of them were still spawning around here.
Sew her side back on, set her free and see if she lays them.... that will tell you for sure!!!!

Oregon crappie looking like that too a couple weeks ago, they haven't spawned yet IMO... But they are starting to. It may be a month or more before they are all done. They take turns and some spawn twice during the warm season. I wish them all a sensual spawn and a small fry summer.
I have a jig with a face like this!
Looks like she's pretty full of eggs, not like leftovers, I'd have to guess they're still spawning. No big surprise after the weird weather this spring - if it has humans confused, just think what it does to the fish!
The ones I got this past weekend were full of eggs too and the males were DARK. We caught most of our fish in 3-4 FOW (shallow) around wood. To me, all these things together means the spawn is ON in NY.
Indiana (north) still have eggs.
