    I put the same thing in my boat about a year ago when I moved the fuel tank to the front. I works great and with the tanks up front, the weight of the boat is more evenly distributed.

    I think you already have a fuel/water separator on your motor...I had a 1994 and it was equipped with a F/W separator and was also connected to the alarm system...It would give an interrupted beep if the F/W sep. needed to be drained or changed...My motor was a 200 but that shouldn't make any difference.

    It looks like an oil filter and is located on the starboard side of the motor....

    Let me know what you find...

    Just looked at the parts diagram. There is a water sep on there...Don is correct.

    NJcrappie i could kick my self for not installing one on my 15hp motor i just replace the carb bowl because it had a crack from water freezeing in it this past winter glad it got the bowl instead of the power head

    Default Diaphragm Kit

    While you are in there it only takes a few more minutes to replace the fuel pump diaphragm kit. Chances are they are getting brittle. Just a thought, I did mine last year on a 200 Mariner Magnum EFI
