The Hook Up

If you go fishing very often you will eventually get a hook in something other than a fish. That “other” thing might be a bush, boat, dock, you or your fishing partner. The coolest thing I ever hooked up with, other than a fish or my wife, is somebody's rod and reel when I was fishing on Lake erie for Walleye. I mean it was an old yellow fiberglass set up, something that Jerry McKinnis would have used in the day. From the zebra muscles and goop/muck/crap on it one would estimate it had been there at least 10 years.

This was in 1995. What is the coolest or funniest thing you hooked up with while fishing?
