    I don't know rango, that dock owner doesn't look happy that you're taking pics of his things! :D

    Kunes - I've been looking at the downrigger extensions for my boat. Are they worth the purchase? I just can't imagine their height makes that much difference for comfort. Would you get them again, or go a different route?

    i'm not sure what you're calling extensions. The board clamps on the gunnale so the whole unit can be quickly removed. I used to take it off and go water skiing or cruising with the family then remount it for fishing. The things on the ends of the board are swivel bases for the downriggers and it would suck not to have them.

    Thanks, yes they have swivels on them. I have the quick release bases and must move the complete unit to set the boom(s) out of harms way.
