    look good. Keep at it! And like Skiptomylu said, catch some fish on em and then let us know how great it feels to foolem with your own jigs.

    Yep, nice looking jigs. Now comes the best part - research. Go try them out and post pics of fish you caught!

    They will work. That's how I started. I was just "piddling" trying to make my own for me. Have fun.

    Personally I love marabou tail (chartreuse) ; a flash of white or black kip; flourescent scale like mylar; and red wrap thread to imitate blood. Sometimes I substitute red squirrel for the kip tail.

    works great.
