    Default Brangling......

.......the dieing sport of broccolli fishin.

To successfully brangle, timing is of the essence. Wait till the broccolli are present in numbers. Do a little scouting, try determine if the big boys have arrived yet. When things look right approach quietly. I like to fish outta a boat, as the slight elevation it affords allows me to sight-cast to the larger ones.

Broccolli On!!! I like a crankbait for a good solid hook-up. I used a Shad Rap SR7 in a Natural Shad pattern today. Many times I had both trebles inbedded.

This was about the average size I managed today.

I only kept enuf for supper. Best to let them smaller ones grow a bit and go back at a later date. Some fine table fare.

I know it's a bit early, but when those tomatoes start spawning, you can catch them by the bushel. I think you'lll find they fry up better, too.

    Nice catch on the brocolli!

Yes. Mom found it in the laundry with my undies after I came back from a stay at Neverland as a child.
