Need help with saltwater fish

I'm planning a trip to the pan handle of florida. I would like to try my skills at saltwater fishing in the gulf, but don't know a thing about it. So, I have a couple of questions.


1. What is the Prize table fare for the saltwater species? Anything as good as crappie?

2. How to fish from the beach. Bait, rods, line test?

3. Do you have to have a License to fish from docks, piers, beaches?

You will need an non resident license. I think 8-10 bucks for 5 days. Google Florida Sportsman, go the FORUMS and then go to the Panhandle section and ask your questions there. You will have to join but it is free. I'm in East Central Florida so Not sure about up there. I think possible species would include Pompano, Flounder, Whiting, Sheepshead, Black Drum, Red Fish, Mackeral, Blue Fish.
