Default Wow What a Boat! This is it, The One!

The first time I put my eyes on my new boat it was like oh yeah, this is going to be a good one! I am more pleased than ever with this Lund 1700 Explorer Crappie Edition. There is no need for the 1800 for me as it may be almost too big, LOL!

I went out this morning at about 10:00 just to fish a little and run it some and caught some crappie and did a little running around.

I must say this boat is built like a tank! I saw one at his shop that he had taken to the water and before he could turn back on his lot a car hit him in the read at 55 MPH and the boat and 3/4 ton truck swapped ends. You would not believe the low amount of damage to that boat. There was a small ares that he was going to bend back out from the inside that was maybe 5" X5" and above that a little was a crack in the aluminum about 4" long that is going to be welded back up. That's it, that is all the damage from being hit at 55 MPH by another car. This is because the stiffeners in the boat are made from aluminum I beam.

This is one solid boat and if anyone wants a great big wide boat that has a load of room, this is it!

This boat is going to be here with me for a very long time and the guy prices his boats so you can finance 100% of the sale price and there is a lot of dealers that can't say that!

The funny part is how many people wanted to look at it on the way home and even my 20' with the 200 HP Yamaha bass boat didn't get request like that. We stopped to eat yesterday afternoon on the way back and one guy ask "hey who makes that Luno?" My wife was tired and got tickled when I told her inside the restaurant and she was trying to hold the laughter back because the guy also came in and was sitting right behind us while waiting at the counter.

    Congratulations Skip.

I guess that would be almost as good as having a new Grandchild.
They offer hundreds of hour of pleasure too.

Now go get it really dirty.
