    Default thank you Lord

we finally are getting some rain. We have been about 12 inches in the hole for the year. my grass in the yard has died and the weeds are struggling. I've watched the rains that everyone else has been getting with a heck of a lot of envy. Sure hope this helps with the night stalking tonight. If nothing else, I'll get a wet butt.

I'd have been happy to have been able to send some of what we've had this spring in your direction!

The Seneca River just got back to normal level a few days ago - been running high for weeks.

yea, Bugs, it's dry. USDA has us classified as a catagory 2 drought area. stays like this the maps will be showing Mississahara. i doubt the small amount we got around here will help much. we need a DOWNPOUR for a couple hours.

think this old fossil can learn to night fish? I thought of trying it before I knocked some snotty nosed kid of a jet ski and wound up in the crossbar hotel. used up all my worm weights in my sling shot. they got me outnumbered. had to retreat before i whipped out the heavy stuff. Have a great day, man.

Good for you! I am glad for you.
I know how it is when the lake is low and we had our share of that the last 2 years.

I would like to add my thanks to the LORD also. According to my rain gauge we got about 3 1/8" last night, not enough to fill up Okatibbee but maybe it will help my weeds, I mean my yard. Last year and so far this year have about done in my yard, it's too large to water. I think the rain was very localized, a phone lineman said they didn't get any out of the shower that dropped over 2" on us and he lives about 15 miles south.
