    Default Fillet Knife Lubrication

A couple years ago i bought an american angler electric fillet knife that came with a red grease. Well it has all but completely worn out of the inner workings and absolutely none remains on the blades when i remove them for cleaning. Any ideas on what to use as a replacement lubrication to ensure longevity ? I thought of 3 in 1 oil , but seems to me it would be too likely to run out of the connection point in a short amount of time. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Never used anything on the blades. But if I did it would be spray Pam. That way you would not have grease on the fillets.

    Anything nonpetrolium.

I just let the water and blood do my lubricating.
