    Default Airbrushing Jigs?

Anyone airbrush their jigheads? Does a coat or two of a clear lacquer paint over it keep from getting chipped too bad?

Thanks. I'll give it a shot and see how it works.

I use an etching chromate primer under my topcoat. it dries in about 5 minutes, then i apply topcoat. have to whittle the paint off. it's about the only way to spray paint non ferrous metals and get adhesion.

I started air brush painting last year. Painting jig heads is addictive. I got it figured out pretty much so. I use a sand blast/glass etch nozzle instead of the paint nozzle. Doesn't clog as easy as the paint nozzle. I just "shake 'n' paint".

I got some good poop here (Crappie.Com) as to what to do and got more watching Richard Williams do a few jigs. He gave me some good pointers about the dipping and the baking of the powder paint.
