Thumbs up High Rock Pics! 5-5-07

Well here they are boys! The day was wonderful, overcast, little sprinkle. Perfect weather for the crappie! We caught about 200 from 8:30-4:30 and took home 67 nice fish! I just finshed cleaning all of them at about 10:15. My step son had a blast on his first ever crappie hunt!

Good job! The only bad thing about catching a bunch of crappie is that you have to clean them. Then again the tasty fillets make up for that. :D
Props to you for taking your step son on his first trip.

    You've got that right!

Sounds like you guys had a blast. High Rock is a very good lake for crappie. Check out the NC board and post your reports sometime!

Thats something the boy will remember forever, And when he takes his boy someday he will look back and tell about the first time for him and the fun he had.

We used Yellow jigs all day, never switched to anything else! Yea I think he will really remember that. As soon as I can find me a boat cheap enough I will be going back, even if it is 2 hours away. Its worth it!
