    Default VERY frustrated!!

Its happening again. I take the time to write a good post and when I go to post it, it is taking me to the log in page again and when I go back to copy what I wrote its gone. AAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No other forum I participate in does that. Its very frustrating to put effort into writing something and then losing it. I love this forum, but man, thats aggravating.

That’s why I write everything in a word document first, and then copy it to the forum. I own some forums and I recommend that is what everyone does. Your ISP can have a glitch and you will lose the work. Some forums are set to time out (posts) for security reasons. So in that regard, writing a long post will be lost.

I had this problem to. The reason I think they put a timer on it is to stop you from being idle on the web page. If you aren't looking around and clicking it'll do that. What I been doing is typing on word then copy and paste to the site.

You also might need to check your cookie settings for your browser.

Why not just right-click and "copy" the post before submitting it? That way, you don't have to save it on Word and you can simply "paste" it if you lose the original.

Grizz, try this. Another board set up like this one was doing that to me as well as this board. If you click the little "Remember Me" square just to the right of where you log in it will take care of that problem. Something to do with a time out or somesuch business.

That should fix it but you also have to have cookies enabled. Since you don't have that problem on other boards I suspect you already have them enabled but you might check to be sure..
