    Default Do you keep "parts"

Nearly all of us have had lures we were using that lost "parts" during use like the spinner blades off those jig spinners. Do you save parts of broken lures and make "new" lures from those piled up parts of other lures that were heretofore useless??
    always Keep a sharp hook.

I'm like scamper - pack rat parts for all sorts of things including lures. Drives my wife nuts, but I just can't help it. Funny thing is, every time I save something because "I might need it one of these days", eventually I end up needing it and hope and pray that my wife didn't toss it out.

Of course! Somedays you get bored and start putting together some GODAWFUL combination of parts just for grins and then think hey.....that just might work. Then it flies apart on the very first cast....
