Default Anyone have trolling depth info on Bandit 100 series crankbaits?

Someone sent me info on 200 and 300 series (lost his e-mail address) does anyone have depth info on the 100 series? I figure that this time of year I would have better luck pulling 100's for crappie than 200 or 300.

On a side note, I learned from reading on Precision Angling's website that it doesn't matter if you pull your crankbaits at .75mph or 3mph (or anywhere in between) they will go to the same depth, it just takes longer the slower you are going. I found this interesting. I would still think that there would be an optimum speed for the best action of the crankbait and to give the crappie the best chance of hitting it. I'm going to keep it between 1-2mph and see what happens.

Only had/have the info on the 200 and 300 series. Are you going to troll in real shallow water?

Not real shallow but I figure that if the 200 series goes 9.5' deep with 50' of line out I just wanted to try the 6'-8' range without having less than 50' of line out and I think the 100 series will do just that.

I troll the 200 and 300 but seem to catch more on the 300, wonder if it is the action with the bigger lip. Have you done much yet, results? Let us know about the 100 series.

This will be my first year pulling crankbaits. So far I've only messed with them for a short time at the end of my fishing trips. Only one small white perch to show for it right now, but I'm looking forward to my first crappie. I've been told by many that you get the best results pulling crankbaits after the water temp gets up over 70, so I'm waiting for that as well. It should be a fun summer pulling them. I'll try pulling the 100 series this Saturday and see what happens. I'm having good luck right now spider rigging with Capps & Coleman rigs but I'll try to find some time for the crankbaits.

Hey, thanks Keith. Not as much difference from the 200 series as I thought there would be.

I'd be interested in the 200 and 300 chart. I mostly fish a lake that is 8-18' deep with very little cover. I can cover the main part of the shallows with the 100 series, but the deeper areas may need a 200.

    Thanks.

I would be interested in the 200 and 300 chart also. Please post the depth and line out for those as well.
    Thanks
