The Willie Bee finally hits the water on May 1! I got a chance to fish on Sat. morning for a short trip with Jeff from Westshore Waterfowlers and his son Nicky, we got out at 8:00 a.m. and ran 4 planer board lines with rapalas right in front of the pier heads and picked up 5 browns and a nice rainbow. We starting cleaning one before I remembered the camera in the car. The brown trout are biting well in close, up and down the entire shoreline. A mix of brown trout, lake trout, rainbow trout, and king salmon are being caught now. A 29.5 lb brown trout was caught off Manitowoc on Sat.
