    Default Spark Plug Caps

OK I am always thinking....lol. I bought a dozen spark plugs for my engine and when you buy them in larger quantities like that they come in a packaged box with clear "plastic caps" around the bottom of each spark plug. Ever seen them? If not got to your local Marina and ask for all of the ones they discard.
Why???? Because each plastic sleeve makes a perfect connector for your rods when you break them down to store them. Simply slide this hollow little tube over both sections of rod and they will stay together without getting tangled. Even in my rod box going 70 mph in 3 footers I can pull them out with ease once I get to my spot. Try it, they are very durable and cheap!!!

I betcha if you submitted that tip to Field & Stream (or was it Outdoor Life? - I'll have to check) they'd publish it and you'd get the free Buck knife they give for published tips.

Just an idea - why not reward yourself for a good idea!!!!

    Meantime, keep 'em coming!!!!!
