whats the bottom line if you don't mind my asking,

At least I think so as long as the dealer behaves about what I want on it. Going to get this boat with a 115 4 stroke. He also has to give me the Maxxum 80 and a SS prop.
So tell me what you think and does anyone have a boat like this?

G3PO
That should be a nice boat skip.
Looks like a nice one for chasing crappie or anything you want.
My success in life is measured by the number of
hunting and fishing stories that my kids can share with others
I don't want to poop the party, but, I think I would get tired of fighting the wind that boat looks like it would catch while anchored or trolling at slow speeds. I haven't fished the Bend in over 20 years. But, I would hate to be blown around in all of the stumps I remember.

not much rear deck room from what i can see, sure would be cramped fishing from the back seat

I realize I am in the minority here, but after finally taking the plunge on
a similar boat, I wouldn't have anything else - well, maybe a big glass
deep V if I win a lottery or something.
Minor drawbacks, it will be slower than a similar length glass or mod V
aluminum with the same horsepower, and it can be a challenge to beach
sometimes - run up on bottom and still be three feet from the bank.
But oh my gosh, the RIDE - last Saturday I took off down the lake in
two foot waves and hardly even a bump. It hit me that in my last boat
I would have been pounding the daylights out of it at anything over idle
in that chop. Now wind is no concern.
I don't know what the G3 weighs, probably lighter than mine, but I
bet it will behave well in the wind while fishing.
'Bout the back deck - I don't even have one, and have no use for one...
I like to walk around while trolling and floorspace rules for me
The front deck is plenty big for two folks to fish off of if need be.
All in what you want to do with a boat!

nice walleye boat
It is decked out a lot like my Lund Explorer SS and I love my boat. The coffin rod locker is nice (I don't have that). I have a 115HP Mercury on mine. You can't put the motor up if you have a seat in the back hole. It does catch in the wind but the 24V trolling motor handles it nicely. I think that you would be real happy with this boat if you like to fish. It has a lot of room to move around in.
Good luck with the boat!
