    Default kalamazoo co.


    Hey all you Michigan anglers....was wondering if anyone has ever fished hogsett or gourdneck lake in kalamazoo county. If so, whats the best method in them lakes, and general areas to begin

    I have fished both through the ice several times and have done quite well on Gills. To be honest I have never fished them when they were not covered in ice. Through the ice the deeper the better for Gills has been my best spots.

    Thanks savage.....so many lakes up there really have a ton of crappies but hard to find some real quality fish

    Duane,
    There is a ton of lakes in Berrien,Cass, and Van Buren Counties with great Crappie fishing. Not sure how many different ones you have tried, but most of them hold healthy populations of Crappie...
