    Default Disappearing crappie

Early morning crappies are hard to locate . In the afternoons I can find them schooled with yellow bass , above or below bait fish.
Do crappie cruise the shallows during the nights ??

I've always found early AM Crappie to be hanging around wood on banks that stay in the shadows until 10-11AM.
