Default Any line recommendations for spider rigging

I am wanting to take a whirl at Spider Rigging. What are other readers using for main line and leaders? Here in Ohio we can use two poles with 3 hooks on each line. My thought is trying 3 hooks in a drop shot rig configuration with a weight at the bottom. Any help would be appreciated.

Trilene big game , 10 lb. test (comes in color ,I use clear )Leaders are connected to main line to a barrel swivel . We are not allowed to have three drops , I don't think . The leaders are 8 lb. fluorocarbon .

10lb Powerpro braid with a 8lb mono leader, usually moss green or clear, haven't noticed a difference between colored and clear. Gonna try some leader in fluorocarbon to see if it makes a difference.

I use 8# Cajun line for the main lines and the BnM double rigs. If and when I make my own double rigs I’d use 10 or 12# for the rigs

This is about the same as my setup except I like to use 6# fluro leaders. I feel like the lighter line helps but I lose more hooks that way too.

I have used every size between 6# to 17# and really have not seen any difference spider rigging. So I would just use what I have on hand. The only difference is that if hung up a heavy line may break a rod or straighten a hook. Where a light line would break easier and save the rod.

I'll give the 6lb a try. I recently went on a white bass trip and my buddy caught 5 to my one. We were using Foley spoons behind a dam and the only difference was he had a fluro leader and I had green mono. When we switch rods I caught more than him. Not sure if crappie are as sensitive to line but it sure can't hurt.
