I put my weeks vacation in several months ago..... But the past 4yrs my duties at work had restricted my huntn time.....
I told the big boys at cooperate I need my life back starting this year

I’m going to miss it, but with this heat......maybe not a bad thing.

Going Friday morning to weed-whack the camp, check/move stands, do some trimming, get any logs out of the road, and get the lease ready, but I won't be hunting until rifle season Oct 21. I will do some serious scouting and trail cam monitoring until then, but I'll mostly be fishing! Come on cool fall weather! The snakes and bugs are all yours until then SK, good luck!

I will take a half day Friday off to hit crappie with a bud , then I will hunt the evening at my place
Saturday and maybe the morning a bit and then I will hit my favorite crappie dock on the way home Sunday afternoon .
Of course so far it hasn't all been approved by the corporate home body but I started in with my requests yesterday with a half dozen smoking beautiful roses ,,,,,you know just to grease the pan a bit before I jump all in it
