This is a bit off crappie topic.....But last year I was in Yellowstone and planned to fish some of the streams for trout. After reading thru the regulations I found that lead was banned from use for fishing within the park.
This limited me to what I could use out of my tacklebox.
Is there anyone producing jigs using something other than lead?
This may be the way of the future..... with things like lead shot being banned for use on waterfowl (In canada anyway not sure about US)

I've been using them all spring. They are a little lighter than normal and tougher. I like them. I've worn the red off some of the hooks I've gotten so many fish with them.
Good things come to those who bait.
