    Default PVC attractors

I am building some pvc attractors to suspend under my dock. Does pvc float? Do I need to add weight to them or will they hang naturally. I have always added weight to those that I put on the bottom but am not sure what to do with those that will hang.

Better to anchor it at the bottom. A decoy weight works great.

    Default Hey Mike

Yeah, I think a decoy weight would do the trick.

I put 20 lbs at the bottom of the cedars and let the water weight weigh them down.

Here's the calcs I did last Feb and took a lot of grief for it.

10ft. of 0.5” pipe will result in 0.2 lbs of weight in water.
10ft. of 1.0” pipe will result in 0.6 lbs of weight in water.
10ft. of 1.5” pipe will result in 1.0 lbs of weight in water.
10ft. of 2.0” pipe will result in 1.5 lbs of weight in water.
10ft. of 3.0” pipe will result in 3.25 lbs of weight in water.

Okay Bugs, Gee and Dunc.......Let me have it again........:D
