    Default Double towing question

Does anybody know the laws on double towing ? Wanting to pull boat to Florida this fall for a fishing trip. I have been told that I can't pull a boat behind a bumper hitch camper but if I have a fifth wheel camper I can. I have looked up the laws but they don't seem to be real clear. Looks like there might be a 65' length law in there.
Any help on this is appreciated.
    Thanks

That is going to be a state by state situation. Here in KY I see lots of boats behind trailers.

I just checked Google and found a site that shows which states outlaw it. Looks like you are out of luck. There is a map on news.pickuptrucks.com that shows that most of the east coast prohibits it.

I have pulled a boat behind my 5th wheel to Florida, without any trouble, but I quit doing it because if I got into a accident even if it’s not my fault, the way people sues and lawyers. My 2cents

Florida highway patrol will stop you and not only give you a ticket but will not allow to proceed until another tow vehicle shows.
