Default Glad to be back/ need fish'n bud too

Been away several years, wife had two major surgeries and needed my help. I bought kewl boat in 2018, only used it twice so far, my son hates fishing so I'm in process looking for a fishing buddy. I live in Prattville and fish Skiatook nights for crappie and walleye. Been retired 6 years and I'm 57. I do have chronic back pain but it doesn't stop me from fishing and hunting. Send personal message if you Alden need a fishing buddy and we can discuss fishing together over the phone. Wife is doing exceptionally well now and I'm able to return to fishing if I can find someone who loves to fish also need in a lifetime fishing buddy

Congrats on the wife’s improvement, glad she’s better and you can get back to fishing. I must admit, I’m dumb. I have no idea where Prattville is other than up state NY. Where are you? That boat can get slimy when you’re alone as well as in good company. Good luck with your search.

I'm happy to hear you wife is doing better. I understand what you were and are going through as my wife developed a non-curable illness and I spent the last two years of her life taking care of her. She loved to fish so we fished our slip anytime she was able to go out. I hope you are as successful in finding a good fishing partner. I am lucky in that I have four good fishing partners and it does make it more fun when you have somebody in the boat with you.

Maybe you should take some trips to the lakes you fish, without the boat, and see if you can find fishing people, who might like to take you up on, fishing with you. Y0ou might need more than one, if you fish a few times a week. Get to know them first, before making the offer.
