    A fellow member of the 1980 GA BASS Federation Top 6 Team made the best spinnerbaits I've ever used. He was career military and made all the spinnerbaits time would allow. Later he started experiencing some health issues that puzzled the Drs until they checked for lead. He had poured lead spinnnerbait heads for years and the lead eventually hurt his health.

    I've been guilty of not wearing the amount of protection Rickie has on when pouring lead weights, jigs, and duck decoy strap weights in the past.
