Your lucky! My first venture of the season lead to near nothing. Went home with 3 nice sunnies and one nice crappies. The boat runs decent though!
We just had our ice go & we are in them.
I'll be heading out just about everyday until walleye opens. This is so much fun!

Knowing their pattern helps.
I went in last night to rear on a few slabs with some bonus bass.
These bucketmouths are a blast on U.L gear.
That Fenwick really has some power in it.I just love how it reacts under the load.
there is still a foot of Ice on my favorite lake (solid to shore yet)
For those of us yet to get the hulls wet...how warm is the water now? I hear reports of folks able to troll em in already, but not quite warm enough water temps to trigger the easy-pickin action my mom and dad love so much.

I'll let you know tonight. I'm putting my boat in after work this afternoon. With the high winds and warm temps this week I think the lakes are warming up quick on the Range. I think they are probibly staging for spawn on the edge of the weedlines by now (I hope) :D
That's exactly what I am hoping for at this point. Which area lake will you be on?Originally Posted by rancherlee

The crappies and gills are in here in the Aitkin Co.area.
Here's a few picks from this weeks fishing.
Things are really heating up going into Mn. walleye openers.
