Default Lake o the pines cranking?

I'm thinking about riding over to lake o the pines and trying out pulling some crankbaits, anybody have any information they'd be willing to share? I've been fishing cypress black bayou with good results, but it seems the hot weather has brought that to a halt, i'm still catching fish here and there, but it's became very slow. I will be putting in at one of the ramps closest to the Louisiana side on the east of the lake. Thanks for any insight you might have

Have you ever fished LOP ?
If not the area you are headed is clean open water 25-35 ft deep
I would think you should be able to find fish there on your electronics.
    The lake is loaded with
    Quality fish.
If they aren’t showing up in the lower lake I suggest cruising the channel heading up the lake looking for timber holding fish.

No I've never fished there, but have read a lot on here about it having good fish, and I only live about 50 miles away so I was wanting to go try it out pretty soon, thanks very much for the response

I fished this many years ago but fished standing brush. Actually thinking about heading up there again myself soon.

I don't know the lake but I do know its loaded with slabs .
I would not have a clue about cranking in it though and for sure one might lose a lot of baits if one didn't know where to troll said cranks
