    Default glow plastics

anyone try and still use glow plastics? I just picked up some baby shad glow green to try. I caught fish with them this morning but haven't tried at night yet. seemed to get bit same as the other colors. they sure look killer in hand.

I know sometimes too much glow is detrimental too so it remains to be seen.

I use glow plastics alot, mostly in the winter, ice fishing. I do use them some in spring and summer with good results. They work very well in the winter, dropping them down into the icey and dark water. I use them with live bait, wax worm, maggot or a minnow. I believe the glow attracts fish to the bait.

I use glow at night usually tipped with a minnow or crappie nibbles. Use the glow to attract them to the bait smell and bite.

I have seen them refuse too much glow on a bait also. I use a glow stick rig sometimes and have seen them stop hitting it completely as it got darker. the regular(forage minnow glow jig) glow jig heads were still getting hit. these plastic things glow pretty hard at first charge.
