Pomme update (Lightfoot)

Just a quick update on how we fared today in and around Lightfoot area.

Didnt catch 1 crappie. Nope not one.

Caught 1 drum, 4 or 5 smallmouth and a couple of bream. Thats about it. All in about 7 hour time frame from 11am to 6pm.

Hope the crappie bust out by next weekend!

Talked to some folks today while out and about. One group has been catching limits in the very backs of coves is very shallow water. Dark bottom and warmer water. I would have been fishing deeper around the piles in 15 feet of water or so but he had the fish to prove it. Course its a little windy out today. Very very soon its gonna get good.
