    Default Red light Green light

crappie have the red light on in these parts for sure . best have your game on to ketch them . they are there but not real cooperative .
anyway I tried to put it on them but to be sure they wasn't having much of what I offered .
I managed to ketch only around 10 to 12 crappie at 2 different lakes total .
a few sand bass in a green light at night was fun though and a carp that took my jig in the green light was nifty as well .
I did hang an especially large black bass who didn't fight much until it got to the surface and then as it often happens it was gone in a flash .
wish I had a better report but to be sure it was a tough day to get a bite .
got so frustrated a few times we flew them the bird !
but in the end I smiled in hopes during my travels in pursuit of them rascals
and that's my Tuesday outings report .
hope you enjoy a few photos and yes I did hang one crappie in the belly , I suppose I just thought I had a bite and just set the hook for grins
p.s. bluegill and catfish were highly cooperative for those that wanted them in our crew.

Great report and great fish, even if they weren't bighting well. persistence pays sometimes. That belly hooked fish probably was takin' a swipe at your bait instead of hitting it. You know, playing the bully...knocking your bait around...

Sounds like a decent day even though the bite was tough. Good job.

looks like the same body style to me for sure ,BUT note they don't produce them in upper and lower side of the bait contrasting color schemes .
many times I think a fish wants to see a darker back and lighter belly no matter the color scheme .
