    Default Jig Heads?


    I am looking for some advice on Jig Heads. What are your favorite jig heads to use? Brand, color, size, etc... I have been using 1/16oz round jig heads from BPS (Black, Pink, Chartreuse), but would like to see what others recommend and why.

    I use strickly 1/16 oz. with a #2-#4 sickle hook.Color just depends on condition.I switch to 1/8 oz. if the wind is up.:D

    Crappie Pro makes a good design...forgot what it's called but it is more of the minnow shaped head design with eyelet on top.

    I mostly use 1/16 or 1/32 myself. I agree with slabman on the minnow shaped head. That's my personal choice too.
