Great catch! "Do-It-Yourself" always pays off.
My wife said she wanted bass for dinner so I did as I was told and threw in a few crappie also. Caught all my fish on a rock point surrounded by deep water. Two of the bass I caught on bass assassin and the larger bass hit my 1/16 jig and 4 pound test. I did catch a few crappie on one of my Christmas trees I put out in January. They were smaller fish and all throw backs. It was pretty cool though because it's my first fish I ever caught on one of my brush piles.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!
