Smithville question

With all of the high water, is Smithville worth fishing now? I see it's about 8 feet high. Having not fished Smithville a ton, I've never really fished it high.

Yes, Yes, Yes. It was 8 ft high and I was catching crappie like crazy. Not a ton of monsters, but easily 100 crappie days. They started letting water out I believe on Tuesday and a buddy of mine said the fish are not where they were the previous 4 weeks. Wont stop me from going and finding them.

Crappie always slow down when they run water .
