Family Fishing Rodeo
Today was a family fishing rodeo day at East Lake. The city stocked the lake with over 2000 pounds of Catfish, Bluegill, and Perch. Fishing was free for the family. I was honored to help in a small way by showing a few fishing knots and some basic setups. They used soft plastic as well as live bait.
Many bass, catfish, perch, and bluegill were caught and heading home to Cisco Lake. This is how we hook the future and pay it forward.

Good job. One day those kids will be grown and when they teach another kid how to make fishing knots they will say I was taught by a nice old crappie fisherman.
