Please pray for my wife - upcoming surgery

Please be praying for my wife, Karen.

Since November, my wife has been having nerve impingement issues from bulging disc(s) in her neck. This resulted in arm and hand numbness and pain.

After consulting with two different doctors/surgeons, we have decided that the best course of action is to go ahead with neck surgery to address the damaged areas and have cervical fusion. It's been a tough and a bit scary decision to make, but she is scheduled for surgery early Monday morning (6/10/2019).

Please be praying for the surgeon and specialists that will be performing the work. Pray that everything goes well, that she gets immediate relief, and that there are no subsequent infections or side effects that have to be dealt with. Pray that her recovery goes quickly too. Her surgeon is very conservative and wants her to be on work restrictions for up to 3 months.

Please pray for our household too. It looks like I am going to get to play Mr. Mom for awhile. Karen will need patience in watching me TRY to take care of the things that she normally does so effortlessly. It's a good thing that two of our three boys are old enough to help out quite a bit!
