Default Installing LED Lights For Early Morning/Night Fishing

I am thinking about installing some LED lights in my compartments and also around the front and back decks to be able to see better early in the morning and if we chose to do some night fishing. I was looking for some advice from people who have done this, as far as brands of lights and dos and don't. Any advice is appreciated.

I used red small strip lights on insides of boat to not draw bugs and couple small strip lights of white in the compartments. They don’t draw any power. I got mine from this link and they also have a super nice waterproof push button switch that works great. You can get your lights from about anywhere, but switches are hard to find that are small and waterproof.
