    Talking Going to High Rock!

Well wish me luck. Headed to High Rock Lake on May 5th for the first time ever! I have heard nothing but good things about this lake. Everybody I talk to say I will limit out in a pretty short time, so I cant wait! I am taking my 15 year old son that has never been crappie fishing, so he is in for a treat and some great eating after we get home. I will post pics after I get em all back here!

Good luck on your trip.:D I used to love fishing new waters. But with gas so high these days,I'm a home body. That's what I blame it on as much as older age. Hope I don't turn into my dad as the saying goes. He fished alot close to home and quit fishing all together a few years before his passing.

High Rock is a good lake for crappie and it has everything from brush piles to docks. As long as the weather is good and it didn't just rain a couple of inches, you should catch a lot of fish. Just keep in mind, this lake is almost always stained to muddy water and visibility isn't very deep but still, you won't be disappointed with High Rock Lake.
