Default Finally got the new boat!

Finally decided what boat to go with. I got another deep v like the Crestliner I use to have. Bought a 2015 lund rebel 1650 xl side console. Found one where the owner bought it new and then begin having health problems. It has about 4 hours on it total. Has the 24 volt v2 and two nice lowrance units on it as well. Now my question. Do any of you that have a similar boat run the Hi-Tek rod holders mounted in the sports track rail system that they have and if so how does it work out for you? I have run Spyder loks for the past several years and will still probably put them in the back mounted to the deck, but I don't do a ton of spider rigging so thought the hi-teks might work out in the front. Thanks for any info. Also if you have a similar boat what height did you order for the riser.

Congratulations. Sounds as if he had it well rigged. I used a deep v for years, loved it for the way it could handle windy conditions on the lake. Understand health problems as that was what forced me to switch to a pontoon for fishing.

Thanks guys. Never did hear back from hi-tech so I called Gene and ordered a set of spyderloks for the front and two of his new trees for the rear. Should be in this week.
