They were breaking numerous laws and should be punished! I agree with you Skip.

Yesterday Texas Game Wardens filed multiple criminal charges on 3 licensed fishing guides and 12 out-of-state anglers for over-limit and undersized Crappie on Sam Rayburn Lake. The group was 208 fish over the limit with 40 being undersized. Cases and civil restitution is pending.

I hope all involved are punished to the fullest. People like that don't belong in the brotherhood of fishermen.

Only thing that would make me any happier that they were caught would have been if the crime had been committed in AL.

They should be fined to the maximum and loose their fishing privileges for life. They will probably be given community service, it should be picking up cigarette butts at night on the side of roads until each gets 100 pounds.
I agree skip that’s ridiculous

Seems this is a rampant problem everywhere. I know it is a huge problem in Florida on all species of fish and game.

There were paid guides involved in this crime, they should lose all fishing license privileges for life.

Guess it really matter's where your from. Here in Oregon I think you could catch them and leave them on the bank to rot and it would be alright. Then again in Oregon they, fish and game, don't make a bunch of money on them! I have read of people at Brownlee Res catching 300+ a day and taking them and selling them! We have no limit or season on them here.If they are not in the salmon/trout family, doesn't seem like anyone cares what you do in Oregon. Walleye, no limit's but for some reason there is a limit on bass.
