    Default Change of plans?

The fishing gods are having a good laugh at us now. Our yearly Mothers Day crappie trip was supposed to be at Salimonie Reservoir in northern Indiana, but that lake is about 20' over summer pool and looks like chocolate milk. So, we thought, let's go to Indian Lake, but then someone said no..
Now, its on to Dale Hollow....
Anybody have any suggestions or info for us? I believe we're staying by Sunset Marina in a cabin and docking under cover? I've never been there, but I go where the fish are...hahaha.
    Anything would be appreciated...thanks.

One of its nicknames is “The Smallmouth Factory” so keep that in mind. Alphahawk could probably give you a good idea of what to expect and how to go about it. Hope you have a good trip.

If you get tired of the crappie, go over to the obey river for a day. The trout fishing is great, and usually not very many people there.

Well guys, got back last night...
5 days, over 50 hours of trolling every cove and stick ups in a 5 mile radius of the dock, 2 tanks of gas, quite a few beers and a few shots=over 400 keepers.
We caught everything from crappies, shellcrackers and a few small mouths thrown in. Didn't keep anything smaller that 12".
Long story short....had a blast, got sunburned and tired of reelin' em in... Can't wait to go back..or anywhere, for more.....
    Pics to come....

400 keepers in 5 days!!! I think you picked the right lake. I can't even imagine that kind of luck.
