Default WTB 175 or 200 horse Evinrude/Johnson old school looper motor

A friend of mine blew his 1987 model 175 last weekend. He needs a decent replacement. Must be a 25 inch shaft since its a bay boat.

    Thanks,
    Chris

If no one here has one, may want to check Ebay. There are a few older Johnson 175 25" shafts on there for sale. Another option is to have the powerhead rebuilt. Crowley Marine sells rebuilds and will buy the old core. I have no experience with them other then buying parts for my old Evinrudes.
