    Default New to the group


    Hello all,
    My name is Brad Cayton. I'm from Buckhannon WV and just joined the forum. My brother and I went out today and I caught this ole gal on a 7ft, St. Croix, panfish rod, a Pflueger President reel loaded with 4# Stren, crappie mono. It's my biggest crappie to date. I was using a 1/16 jig and a 2" Berkley power minnow.

    19 1/4 inches and 3# 8 ounces. We caught quite a few in the 12 to 14" slot but this one was the high point of the day.
