Hi all,
I hope I put this in the right place and I'm sure if anyone can assist someone on here will be able to. I received 5 of these last fall from an elderly gentleman I met fishing Barataria Preserve in South Louisiana. I have not been able to identify the soft plastic. It's a grass shrimp type bait similar to what I've seen on some saltwater sabiki rigs but not quite. They are crème/beige in color, about 2inches long, soft plastic but sturdy, and has small hole at base of tail that allows jig head to slide in. The sacalait and marsh bass love them fished under a small cork or tight lined on a 1/32 jig head. I have one left (see attached pics)
Please let me know if you know what it is called and more importantly where I can purchase it. I'm sure the elderly fisherman found them a some local bait shop but I haven't seen him around since then. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Did you post this on the Louisiana board?
No, I haven't tried the LA board. I guess that should have been the first place I went as it could be a local product. The crème colored one that was given to me is sturdy and acceptable to a 1/32 jig head. The pre spawn sacalait were killing it when I fished it tight lined 18 inches below a split shot. Cast toward laydown or bank and slow retrieve back to boat. Thanks for helping me out on this one.
