    todays catch. a little on the light side as far as numbers go, but perfect as far as quality is concerned . this feller was lucky. He got to go back and report to king crappo about the terrible conditions for his soldiers aboard a nightstalkers boat operating in the daylight hours......

    another view of the above pictured catch. notice the look of utter fear and terror in this soldiers eyes? hes terrified of what hes seeing, but the question is,, is me or tool thats got this feller so terrified? I think its tool,, i dint notice that look from my side of him.....

    Heres a pic of tool holding the same fish. can you blame this brave soldier of kin crappos army for being terrified. he thinks hes being held by a terrorist....

    man...that's a pretty fish!!

    It would look better in some 350 degree grease though.....

    since it was the only one we caught, we let him go. we figgered we owed him that since he did keep us from being skunked.

    Default a very unnatural act

    That was the strangest feeling....letting a crappie go to fight another day. I guess even the most diehard crappie buffet coineseurs (sp?) can find a little goodness in their hearts every now and then and let one of God's tasty little critters back into the lake to live another day.

    Come to think of it, we must have had a little cold weather dimentia going on Rango. Why did I let that crappie go again? :D

    I wish you hadnt asked me that, cause i cant remember either...... I was cold,, shivering, thinking about a hot cup of coffee and my wood heater at home. do you realize i had a six pack of meds in my cooler and never twisted the top on a single one? Im enjoying em now tho.... its all fuzzy to me now why we let him go, but he got out of there faster than a cat jumping off a hot coal stove,,,. Im sure you his hero and hes gonna be wanting a pic of you to take to show and tell,.
