    Default Whats the perfect combo?

In yall's opinion what is the perfect rod and reel combo that wont break the bank? I am looking to get a new combo. I would say that I will be mostly casting and bobber fishing from my boat. Thanks

spinning.and push buttons wally world or BPS has pleanty rod-reel combo's that won't break the bank. u don't have to have a 200 rod-reel to catch crappie. i like ABU-Garca reels on Berkley lightin rods they cost appx 60 a combo but u can get less expensive or alot more expensive equipment. mim u need is 2 combo's some jig heads 1/16 oz. 4-6 pack tube bodies (Chart. or any with chart tail) pack splitshots crappie hooks bobbers and a bucket of minnows. to me this is the mim u need and fill tackle box full later. we all have to much tackle that is not a bad thing

    great rod - on sale

For the reel I'd go with a quantum kinetic or a shimano symetre. These are good reels and will last. There are a lot of cheap reels out there now that fall considerably short of these.

Bang for the buck reel? I like the Cabelas branded reels and this one in particular. They are made by daiwa. I think with any other name on it this reel would sell for over $100.

Good things come to those who bait.
