    Default Your pole of choice

Whats your choice of Crappie fishing? Longer or Shorter? I tend to like the UL's. I have an Ugly Stick 4'6" UL combo I got from Wal-Mart... then a 5" UL rod and reel I bought seperately. A little more higher dollar than the Ugly Stick, but for some reason I catch more fish on the cheaper one. Go figure.
Then I have a 7' Pflueger Med. Action rod/reel combo for my all purpose fishing like bass.

I have a big love for the Spider Wire Braid 8' test. This stuff seems to take a beating and never gives out. GReart stuff.

I use a shakespeare ultra lite rod...And the shakespeare ultra lite spinning reel....Rod is 4/12 foot long...Perfect for me since I am only 5 foot tall myself...LOL...I've used this same rod/reel for about 4 years now...I bought them at Wally World for about 18 bucks....It has been a great little combo for the money...
